Pwllheli is the main Town for the Llŷn Peninsula and is often referred to as the 'Jewel' in the Welsh Scenic Crown. With Snowdonia as a backdrop and miles of unspoiled sandy beaches it's a great place to 'chill out.'

The Town has many individual shops, no malls or shopping centers here! The Pubs and Restaurants are diverse and friendly and the Town's services are very comprehensive. Enjoy the slow pace of life and the 'Green' surrounding countryside.

There is an excellent Leisure Centre and films and Arts Events can be seen at the Town Hall in Penlan Street. Take a boat trip and see the seals and Dolphin. The waters are clear and blue!

Welsh is widely spoken among locals who pride themselves in their culture and language.

Pwllheli has one of the premier Marinas in the U.K. and the sailing is excellent with many World Class events being held every year.

There is Golf, Riding, Surfing, Swimming, Walking, Fishing, Hotels, B&B's, Holiday Centres, Farm and Cottage accommodation and many Touring Carvan Parks in the immediate area. A short drive away is the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park and the Welsh Mountain Railway.
